Dr. Asim S. Malik is an experienced equestrian and he started playing Tent Pegging in 2014. Dr. Malik is committed for tent pegging and working hard for the promotion of Tent Pegging (an ancient equestrian sport) in the United States of America. His continuing efforts include establishing a platform for the experienced Tent Peggers to become a strong team who can represent the USA in the world arena. He established the United States Tent Pegging Federation, Inc. (USTPF) as a National Governing Body (NGB) for tent pegging in the USA, which was not previously done. This is the first time someone gave serious consideration to tent pegging and created the opportunities for the promotion of this ancient equestrian sport in the USA. Dr. Malik who first insured that the USTPF is a recognized equestrian sports federation by the International Tent Pegging Federation (ITPF) and not only got the reorganization but also ensured that the USTPF becomes the ITPF member. Dr. Asim S. Malik is the Chairman, President of the Board and the CEO at the USTPF.
